The official website for the Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin! (Azur Lane: Slow Ahead!/アズールレーン びそくぜんしんっ! ) TV anime has released the second main promotional video for the anime’s second season, titled Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin! Ni!!, and confirmed that the new season will premiere on July 5th, 2026.

Maki Shunji is directing the anime’s second season at CANDY BOX studio, and it will premiere on July 5th on the BS11 channel at 1:00 a.m. JST (effectively, July 6th) and on the Tokyo MX channel at 1:05 a.m. JST.
The Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin anime’s first season premiered in January 2021, and it was directed by Jinbo Masato at CANDY BOX studio and Yostar Pictures. Crunchyroll streamed the first season under the name Anime Azur Lane: Slow Ahead!, and it describes the anime below:
“This is a slightly peculiar world where the shipgirls live in. A lively and enjoyable school life for girls from different factions will begin at the naval port of Azur Lane. Living out their lives to the fullest, these girls get into various shenanigans—slowly but surely!”
The anime is based on Hori’s Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin! manga. Hori started the manga in April 2018 on the franchise’s official Twitter account and on Ichijinsha’s Azur Lane website. Ichijinsha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2019 and the fifth in September 2025.
