The “Kimi o Koi Suru Ki wa Nai” to Itta Jiki Koushaku-sama ga Nazeka Dekiai Shitekimasu (The Duke’s Son Claims He Won’t Love Me Yet Showers Me with Adoration/ 「きみを愛する気はない」と言った次期公爵様がなぜか溺愛してきます ) manga by Misawa Kei and Mizuno Natsu has been green-lit for a TV anime, which will premiere in July 2026 on the TV Asahi and BS Asahi channels.

Matsui Hitoyuki is directing the anime at Zero-G and Glass studios, and the anime will star Ishikawa Yui as Elsa Yukarainen and Saitou Souma as Julius Roias.
Misawa and Mizuno started the manga in February 2021, and Flex Comix published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in October 2021. The manga’s fourth volume was released in October 2025, and the fifth volume will be published on March 13th, 2026.
Kadokawa’s BookWalker Global releases the manga in English under the name The Duke’s Son Claims He Won’t Love Me Yet Showers Me with Adoration, and it describes the manga story below:
