NBC Universal has revealed a teaser promotional video and the main visual for the Ibitte Konai Gibo to Gishi (My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren’t Wicked/ いびってこない義母と義姉 ) TV anime. It’s also confirmed that the anime will debut in July 2026.

Inoue Keisuke is directing the anime at NEWON studios, and the anime will star:
- Suzuki Hina as Miya Nakamura
- Kujira as Tery Konokura
- Serizawa Yuu as Marika Konokura
- Nukui Yuka as Arisa Konokura
- Mugiho Anna as Gungnir
The anime is based on Otsuji’s Ibitte Konai Gibo to Gishi manga. Both the manga and anime write the English title as My mother-in-law and sister-in-law who don’t bully me. Manga artist Otsuji started the manga in November 2020 in Ichijinsha’s Comic POOL digital Manga magazine, and Ichijinsha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in May 2021. The manga’s ninth volume was released in February 2026.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in English under the name My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren’t Wicked, and it will release the eighth volume on June 23rd, 2026. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the manga’s story below:
