Kadokawa has confirmed that the Hone Dragon no Manamusume (Skull Dragon’s Precious Daughter/ 骨ドラゴンのマナ娘 ) manga by Yukishiro Ichi will be adapated into a TV anime. Nishina Kuniyasu is directing the anime at Douga Koubou studios.

A teaser visual for the anime has been revealed along with an illustration by Yukishiro.
Yukishiro started the manga in September 2020 on Mag Garden’s Mag Comi website, and Mag Garden published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in April 2021. The manga’s sixth volume was released in August 2025.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in English under the name The Skull Dragon’s Precious Daughter, and it has released the manga’s first five volumes so far. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the manga story below:
“In a faraway land, there exists a forest where all manner of beings go to dispose of their trash. One day, a young girl named Eve is abandoned along with the usual debris, but she is quickly found by an aging dragon who decides to take her in and raise her as its own.
