The final chapter of the Sekigan Renkin Kenshi no Yarinaoshi Kitan (隻眼錬金剣士のやり直し奇譚 ) manga by Kirishima Takeru was published on July 24th, 2026, in Kodokawa’s Monthly Shonen Ace magazine. The manga’s third and final tankoubon volume will be released on September 26th, 2026.
The manga is an adaptation of the light novel series of the same name by Kokutou Hakubi. Author Kokutou started the original story in April 2023 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Hobby Japan published the first novel in December 2024 with illustrations by Kuwashima Rein. The third novel was released in January 2026.
Kirishima started the manga adaptation in February 2025 in Kadokawa’s monthly Shonen Ace magazine, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first volume in August 2025. The second volume was released in January 2026.
The story follows Yashiro Yoruichi in a time when dungeons suddenly appeared on Earth. He is a highly skilled explorer who challenges the dungeons from the very beginning and was expected to have a bright future, until he is attacked by an irregular monster known as a trial monster and loses sight in one eye.
As a result, Yoruichi is branded as an underachieving explorer, but he has not given up at all! The one-eyed man, who was thought to be unable to fight, gains the power of an alchemist swordsman through his unwavering determination!
