Staff for the Ore to Yu Nii! (俺と悠兄！) TV anime have revealed a teaser promotional video and confirmed that the anime will premiere in January 2027. The anime is based on the Shota Oni (ショタおに ) boys- love manga by Nakayama Miyuki.

Hashimoto Noriko is directing the anime at Studio Hibari, and it will star Tokudome Shinnosuke as Tsubaki and Umeda Shouuichirou as Yu.
Nakayama started the manga in September 2021 on the Comic CMOA website, and Square Enix published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in November 2021. The manga’s seventh volume was released in March 2026.
The manga is about an elementary school boy named Tsubaki and his childhood friend Yu, who is in high school. Tsubaki loves Yu, but while Yu cherishes him, he somehow always treats Tsubaki like a child. Tsubaki thinks, “I’ll grow up quickly so I can make Yu happy!”. Tsubaki tries his best to act grown-up, but his efforts always backfire.
