Kodansha has confirmed that Shinjou Takuya’s Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun manga has been green-lit for a TV anime adaptation this year. In celebration of the news, manga author Shinjou drew the below illustration.

Shinjou started the manga in May 2021 in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket app and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in September 2021. The manga’s 11th volume will be released on March 7th, 2025.
The manga follows Kote Koyo, a high school freshman with a unique skill for massaging. To earn money for tuition, Koyo becomes the manager of the dormitory of the sports powerhouse Seiwa University High School. There, he meets a group of JK athletes! To get a scholarship to medical school, Koyo devotes himself to “taking care of their mind and body”!
