Kadokawa’ Dengeki Bunko label has confirmed that Kamoshida Hajime‘s light novel series Seishun Buta Yarou (Rascal Does Not Dream) will end with the release of the 15th novel.

The first novel in the series, written by Kamoshida, with illustrations by Mizoguchi Keeji, was published in April 2014, and the 13th novel was released in July 2023.
The 14th novel, Seishun Buta Yarou wa Girlfriend no Yume wo Minai (Rascal Does Not Dream of a Girlfriend), will be published by Kadokawa’s Dengeki Bunko label on August 9th, 2024. The final novel, Seishun Buta Yarou wa Dear Friend no Yume wo Minai (Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend), will be released on October 10th, 2024.
Due to their popularity, the novels have inspired multiple manga, TV anime, and anime movie adaptations.
