Staff for the TV anime Botsuraku Yotei no Kizoku dakedo, Hima datta kara Mahou wo Kiwamete Mita (I’m a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic) released the anime’s first promotional video.

The anime will premiere in January 2025 on the TV Tokyo and BS Fuji channels, and it will be streamed in Japan on the U-NEXT and Anime Houdai services, while Crunchyroll will stream the anime in the West. Ishikura Ken’ichi (Ongaku Shoujo) is directing the anime at Studio DEEN and Marvy Jack studio, and it will star:

The anime is an adaptation of Miki Nazuna’s light novel series. Miki (Kizoku Tensei: Megumareta Umare kara Saikyou no Chikara o Eru, Kujibiki Tokushou: Musou Harem-ken, Mukuwarenakatta Murabito A, Kizoku ni Hirowarete Dekiai Sareru Ue ni) started the story in September 2019 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and TO Books published the first novel in February 2020 with illustrations by Kabocha (Nidome no Jinsei o Isekai de and Yametekure, Tsuyoi no wa Ore Janakute Ken nan da……!). The ninth novel will be released in Japan on October 19th, 2024, and J-Novel Club will release the fourth novel digitally in English on November 23rd, 2024.
Akisaki Rio adapted the novel series into a manga in February 2020 on TO Books’ Comic Corona manga website, now known as the Corona EX website. TO Books published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in September 2020 and its eighth volume in March 2024. J-Novel Club will digitally release the manga’s second volume in English on October 23rd, 2024.
