The official website for the TV anime Maou 2099 (Demon Lord 2099) confirmed that it will premiere on October 12th, 2024, on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11. The anime will also be streamed on d Anime Store and ABEMA.
Ando Ryo (Double Decker! Doug & Kirill) is directing the anime at J.C. Staff Studio, and the anime will star Hino Satoshi as Demon Lord Veltol, Itou Miko as Machina, Hishikawa Hana as Takahashi, Namikawa Daisuke as Graham, Matsukaze Masaya as Lord Marcus and Itou Shizuka as Kinohara.

The anime is based on the light novel series by author Murasaki Daigo (Dantoudai no Hanayome) and illustrator Kureta (Ishura, Ihoujin, Dungeon ni Moguru). Kadokawa released the first novel in the series in January 2021 and the third novel in June 2023. The fourth novel is set to be released on October 19th, 2024.
