Create your first tier

Nami giving a thumbs up

A tier is a monthly pledge a reader makes to your Creator Profile. The best first tier is a small, clear promise you can keep every month.

What a tier needs

  • Name: short and friendly, like "Deckhand" or "Early Reader".
  • Benefits: what supporters get, in one or two lines each.
  • Pledge amount: set in Coins, from 100 Coins up. Every supporter on the tier pledges exactly that amount.
  • Banner (optional): art that makes the tier feel special.

Nami's tip: The average pledge on NamiComi is around 500 Coins. It's a good reference point when you price your first tier.

Start with one

One affordable tier is easier to say yes to than four confusing ones. A good starter promise is:

  • early access to new chapters for a few days;
  • a supporter-only post with sketches or behind-the-scenes notes once a month;
  • your custom emotes to use in comments.

Add a higher tier once supporters ask for more.

Nami's tip: Benefits you write in the description are a promise, not a feature. Anything that NamiComi doesn't do for you, like a monthly sketch or a name in the credits, you have to deliver by hand. Only promise what you can keep up.

Make it easy to say yes

  • Mention the tier at the end of a chapter page, and in a post when you launch it.
  • Show what supporters get. A preview of a supporter-only sketch beats a list of bullet points.
  • Thank new supporters publicly, if they're happy to be named.
