The first volume of the manga adaptation of Shuu’s Seijo wa Tokku ni Shoukan Sareteiru. Nihon ni., illustrated by Shinae Mana and published on Akita Shoten‘s Young Champion since March 29, 2023, is now available for sale.
Also known for Doku-suki Reijou wa Kekkon ni Tadoritsukai and Tefuda ga Oome no Victoria, Shuu published the original novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2022. It tells the story of Alexandra Ollier, a gifted mage specialized in healing magic from the Ujeh Kingdom: however, every sixty years one talented female mage is forcibly summoned away from her world, and eventually the choice falls on her. Leaving a loving family behind, she fears a life of exploitation at the mercy of whoever summoned her awaits her… but to her surprise, she wakes up in peaceful modern-day Japan. Figuring that the summoner’s plan failed, she decides to live a peaceful life in the new world without revealing her true nature, under the false identity of office worker Natsukawa Rei. And, who knows, maybe one day she’ll find a way back home.
