Staff for the Sozai Saishuka no Isekai Ryokouki (A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai) TV anime have confirmed that the show will premiere in October 2025. Odaka Yoshinori is directing the anime at Tatsunoko Production and Synergy SP studios.

The anime is based on Kinoko Masuo’s Sozai Saishuka no Isekai Ryokouki light novel series. Kinoko started the story in December 2017 on the AlphaPolis platform, and AlphaPolis published the first novel with illustrations by Umishima Senbon in January 2017. The 16th novel was released in March 2025 with illustrations by Kuroi Susumu. The novel series has won both the grand prize and the readers’ choice award in the 9th AlphaPolis Fantasy Novel Prizes.
The novels were adapted into a manga by Tomozo on the AlphaPolis Web Manga platform, and AlphaPolis published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in November 2018 and the eighth volume in August 2024. The manga is released in English by Alpha Manga under the name A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai, and it released the eighth volume in March 2025.
