In this world, particularly in the imperial city-state of Idazig, bureaucracy and economic interest hold as much sway as might and magic. And in such a society communication is key, with government-appointed messengers performing a vital service. Such is the life of Yoshida, a half-elf who left her hometown in the woods to work for the government, delivering messages in and out of Idazig and everywhere in between. Whether it’s climbing atop a sheer mountain peak or risking her life alongside a hero’s expedition party, Yoshida will perform her role with utmost determination, though her headstrong and somewhat self-righteous nature often invites more trouble than she can afford.
