As announced by Kodansha USA at their New York Comic Con panel and confimed by the author himself on Twitter this Saturday, Yashiro Manabu’s Tank Chair will be licensed in English and receive a physical print. After debuting in 2011 at Shueisha‘s Gold Future Cup with the one-shot Murahagane and illustrating Yokota Takuma’s Natsu to Mikoshi to Kyoudai Kaijuu in 2013, Yashiro launched the series on Kodansha‘s Shounen Sirius on July 2, 2021, reaching four tankoubon volumes so far.

Taira Nagi was a terrifyingly effective assassin-for-hire, but when his younger sister Shizuka was kidnapped, he took a bullet to the head while trying to rescue her. The shot didn’t kill him, but still left him wheelchair-bound and in a vegetative state. However, while tending to him Shizuka made an odd discovery: when Nagi senses a killing intent, he briefly reawakens, even recovering all of his skills as an assassin. Now, in a modified armored wheelchair, Nagi is back into the business and even more brutal than before, with Shizuka as his assistant, as the two pursue the most dangerous jobs they can find, looking for someone with a killing intent strong enough to fully jolt Nagi back into consciousness.
