Publisher and developer CAPCOM has revealed that the Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin games will launch on Xbox One on November 14th, 2025. Pre-orders for the games are now available.

Both games are currently available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
The Monster Hunter Stories game was originally released in Japan for Nintendo 3DS in October 2016 and then for Smartphones in December 2017. A remastered version of the game was released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in June 2024.
The Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin game was released worldwide for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in July 2021. The game was released for PlayStation 4 in June 2024.
The third game in the series, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, is scheduled for release on March 13th, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
