Square Enix’s Shonen Gangan magazine has announced that Arita Imari’s Shachiku-san wa Yоoujo Yuurei ni Iyasaretai. (Miss Shachiku and the Little Baby Ghost/ 社畜さんは幼女幽霊に癒されたい。) manga will end in two chapters, and Amazon Japan is listing the 14th tankoubon volume as the final volume in the series.
Author Arita (Shuumatsu no Kohinata-san) started the comedy story in February 2019 on Twitter and began the manga serialisation on Square Enix’s Shonen Gangan magazine in August 2019. Square Enix published the manga’s first volume in August 2019 and the 12th volume in March 2025. The manga’s 13th volume, and the 14th and final volume are scheduled for release on January 9th, 2026.
Square Enix’s Manga UP! website releases the manga chapters in English under the name Miss Shachiku and the Little Baby Ghost, and it describes the manga below:
“When corporate slave Fushihara-san works late into the night, a worried ghost named Yurei-chan tries to send her home. She helps with her work and brings her snacks, all the while pleading “Begone now!”—Fushihara’s heart just can’t get enough of her cuteness! Be healed by the heartwarming daily lives of Fushihara-san, who can see ghosts, and the caring Yurei-chan.”
The manga was adapted into an anime in April 2022, and all 12 episodes can be streamed on the Crunchyroll website under the name Miss Shachiku and the Little Baby Ghost. Crunchyroll describes the anime below:
