  • Konishi Katsuyuki as Kotaro Hibino
  • Matsui Eriko as Jumbo King

Pony Canyon describes the story below:

“High school girl Kuroe Akaishi suffers from an unexplained condition and falls in love with Arata Minami, the most popular boy at her school. While it follows the structure of a classic shojo romance, the moment her feelings surge, a giant kaiju Harugon suddenly appears in Tokyo. This is a romantic comedy on an unprecedented scale that turns the conventions of shojo manga upside down.”

Author Aoki (Abigaile no Kemono-tachi) started the manga in February 2018 in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Alive magazine, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2018. The manga’s ninth volume will be released on December 23rd, 2025.
