The manga Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru (When Will Ayumu Make His Move?) will finish its 4-year run in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on November 15, 2023.
The manga, created by Yamamoto Souichirou (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san and Ashita wa Doyoubi), was launched in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine in March 2019.
Kodansha also publishes the manga in English, and it describes the story below:
Ayumu is in love with his senpai Yaotome, but he’s sworn not to confess his feelings until he can beat her at the board game shogi… The problem is that his love is evident to Yaotome, and she can’t stop trying to trick him into breaking his vow!
Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru was also adapted into a TV anime in 2022, directed by Minato Mirai (Sasaki to P-chan) and produced by Silver Link.
