The indie RPG game Omori will be adapted into a manga series by artist Konoito Nui in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine. The news was announced this week on the game’s Twitter account, and Konoito drew an illustration to celebrate the manga announcement.
The game was developed and published by Omocat in December 2020 for PC via Steam, with a Japanese version launching a year later. The game has since expanded to PlayStation 4, Xbox X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
Steam describes the game’s story as follows:
Explore a strange world full of colourful friends and foes. Navigate through the vibrant and the mundane to uncover a forgotten past. When the time comes, the path you’ve chosen will determine your fate… and perhaps the fate of others as well.
