The fifth tankoubon volume of the manga Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha (The Dreaming Man is a Realist) is listed by Kadokawa as the final volume. It will be available for sale on March 26th, 2024. The manga by Yoshikita Popuri (Henkei Shoujo: School Days) is an adaptation of the light novel series by Okemaru.
Yoshita launched the manga adaptation of the novels in March 2021 on Kadokawa’s Shounen Ace Plus website, and Kadokawa published the manga’s fourth volume in June 2023. Okemaru started the light novel series in December 2018 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and HobbyJAPAN is releasing the novels in print with illustrations by Saba Mizore. The latest novel released was the eighth novel in April 2023.
The novel series also inspired an anime adaptation that premiered in Japan in July 2023. The anime series can be streamed on HIDIVE.
