The 19th novel of Genjitsushugi Yousha no Oukoku Saikenki (How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom) series by Dojyomaru confirmed that the series will end with the 20th novel.
The first novel by Dojyomaru (also known for Yashiro-kun no Ohitorisama Kouza) with illustrations by Fuyuyuki was published by Overlap in May 2016, and the 19th novel was released on February 25th, 2024.
The light novel series inspired a manga adaptation by Ueda Satoshi in July 2017. The manga is published on Overlap’s Comic Gardo website, and Overlap released the manga’s first tankoubon volume in February 2018 and its 11th volume on December 25th, 2023. The novels also inspired a TV anime adaptation in July 2021 and a second season released in January 2022.
