Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Alive magazine published the final chapter of Itou Ryou’s Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Come (Osamake: Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Won’t Lose) manga this week in the magazine’s July 2024 issue. The magazine has also confirmed that the manga’s eighth and final tankoubon volume will be released in August 2024.
The manga is based on the light novel series written by Nimaru Shuuichi. Kadokawa released Nimaru’s first novel, with illustrations by Shigure Ui (Kimi wa Boku no Regret), in July 2019 and the most recent novel, number 12, in March 2024. The novel series is set to end with the release of the 13th novel.
Itou started the manga adaptation of the novel series in November 2019 in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Alive magazine, and Kadokawa released the manga’s first volume in May 2020 and the seventh volume in November 2023.
