The official website for Chi: Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite (Orb: On the Movements of the Earth) anime has released a new teaser trailer and confirmed that the anime will premiere on TV in October 2024.

Madhouse studio is animating the show, and it will star Sakamoto Maaya as Rafal, Tsuda Kenjirou as Novak, and Hayami Shou as Hubert.

The anime is based on the manga by Uoto (Hyakuemu, Youkoso! FACT (Tokyo S-ku 2-Shibu) e). The Chi: Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite manga was launched in September 2020 in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits and ended in April 2022. Shogakukan published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in December 2020 and the eighth and final volume in June 2022. In April 2022, the manga won the Grand Prize for the 26th Annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize Awards, making 24-year-old Uoto the youngest winner ever to win the prize.
