Netflix released a new trailer this week for the upcoming Gekijouban Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Cosmos (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos the Movie) anime film. The two-part film premiered in Japan in June 2023 and will debut on Netflix on August 22nd, 2024.

Takahashi Tomoya directed both films at Toei Animation. The project adapts the final Shadow Galactic arc of Takeuchi Naoko’s original Sailor Moon manga.
