Shueisha confirmed this week that the Hunter X Hunter manga by Togashi Yoshihiro will return on October 7th, 2024, in this year’s 45th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump magazine. The manga went on hiatus in January 2023 due to the author’s health.
Togashi (YuYu Hakusho, Level E) started the manga in March 1998 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump magazine, and Shueisha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 1998. The manga’s latest volume, number 37, was released in November 2022, and the 38th volume will be published on September 4th, 2024. The Hunter X Hunter manga has inspired several TV anime series, anime films, OVAs, stage plays, and games.
