Fujii Niko’s manga adaptation of the original TV anime Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai (Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night) has revealed that the manga will end in five chapters. The news was confirmed on Sunday with the release of the manga’s 26th chapter.
The Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai original anime premiered in Japan in April 2024. Takeshita Ryohei directed the anime at Doga Kobo studios, and JELEE is credited with the original work for both the anime and the manga.
Fujii started the Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai manga adaptation in April 2024 in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket app, and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in May 2024. The second volume was released in July 2024, and the third volume was released on September 17th, 2024.
Yaku Yuuki, who was the head writer and scriptwriter for the original anime, also adapted the anime into a novel series. Shogakukan published the first novel in May 2024, the second in June 2024, and the third in July 2024.
