The light novel series Kanpeki Sugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyaku Haki Sareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru (The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold To Another Kingdom) written by Fuyutsuki Kouki has been green-lit for a TV anime in 2025.

Watanabe Shuu (Naruto Shippūden, Shinobi no Ittoki) is directing the anime at TROYCA studio, and the anime will star Ishikawa Yui as Philia.
Fuyutsuki (Ane no Migawari de Konyaku Shitara Nazeka) started the story in July 2020 as a web novel on the Ncode Syosetsu website, and it ended in January 2022. Overlap published the first novel in the series in April 2021 with illustrations by Masami (Buchigire Reijou wa Houfuku wo Chikaimashita, Maou-gun Shitennou no Saijaku Reijou wa Jiyuu ni Ikitai! ) and it released its sixth novel in June 2024. Seven Seas will release the first novel in English on February 4th, 2025.
Ayakita adapted the novel series into a manga in November 2021 in Overlap’s Comic Gardo. Overlap published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in February 2022 and the fifth volume in June 2024. Seven Seas will release the manga’s first volume in English on February 11th, 2025.
