Earth Star Entertainment has confirmed that the Hell Mode – Yarikomi Suki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Musou Suru (Hell Mode – The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing) light novel series by Hamuo has been green-lit for a TV anime adaptation.

Hamuo started the ongoing story in November 2019 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website. Earth Star Entertainment published the first novel in July 2020 with illustrations by Mo (Hassai kara Hajimaru Kamigami no Shito no Tensei Seikatsu) and the 10th novel in September 2024.
The Hell Mode light novel series was adapted into an ongoing manga in October 2020 by Tetta Enji on the Comic Earth Star. Earth Star Entertainment published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in May 2021, and the 10th volume will be released on December 12th, 2024.
J-Novel Club releases both the novel series and the manga adaptation in English under the name Hell Mode. J-Novel Club will release the eighth novel on December 18th, 2024, and the manga’s fifth volume on December 25th, 2024.
