Kadokawa released a new visual for the TV anime adaptation of Yasuhara Hirokazu’s Game Center Shоoujo to Ibunka Kоouryuu manga and confirmed that the anime will premiere in July 2025. Kadokawa has also revealed the anime’s English title, Cultural Exchange With Game Center Girl, and the main cast and staff for the show.

Kikuchi Toshihiro (Bungo Stray Dogs Wan!, Giji Harem) is directing the anime at Nomad studios, and the anime will star Amaki Sally as Lily Baker and Chiba Shouya as Renji Kusakabe. Other staff members include:

Yasuhara started the Game Center Shоoujo to Ibunka Kоouryuu manga on Twitter in 2019, and in May 2020, it began serialization on Kadokawa’s Dra Dra Sharp# website. Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in December 2020, and its ninth volume will be published on December 9th, 2024.

The story follows Kusakabe Renji, who works part-time at an arcade and happens to meet a British girl named Lily. Somehow, they end up exchanging diaries and becoming friends.
