The Neko to Ryuu (The Cat and the Dragon) light novel series by Amara has been green-lit for a TV anime adaptation. An official website has opened for the anime, and an announcement trailer and a visual for the anime have been revealed.

Amara started the story about a dragon raised by a cat in September 2013 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Takaraijimasha published the first light novel with illustrations by Oukuma Mai in April 2016 and the seventh novel in January 2023.
Sasaki Izumi adapted the light novels into manga in September 2017 in the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! website. Since April 2020, the manga has also been serialized on the Manga Box website. Takaraijimasha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in January 2018 and the 10th volume in June 2024.
