Last Thursday, Yuuma Midori reported on her Twitter account that three of her works will be part of a round of reprints by Kadokawa‘s Fujimi L Bunko imprint (formerly a Fujimi Shobo imprint) due to high demand.

The series up for reprint are:

Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi: illustrated by Laruha, published twelve volumes since 2015, received a manga adaptation illustrated by Ioka Waco on Enterbrain‘s B’s Log Comic in 2016 and another by Toba Tsugaru on Kodansha‘s Shounen Sirius in 2023, as well as an anime adaptation by Gonzo in 2018. Female college student Aoi has inherited her late grandfather Shirou’s ability to see ayakashi. One day, while she is sharing food with a pair of ayakashi, an oni summons her to the afterlife. She finds herself in the Tenjin-ya, an inn owned and run by the oni himself. He declares Shirou contracted a great debt, and she is now betrothed to him as repayment. After some convincing (and a close brush with death), Aoi gets him to agree to instead let her pay off the debt by working at the inn.

Asakusa Oniyome Nikki: illustrated by Ayatoki (Majutsushi Kunon wa Mieteiru), published nine volumes since 2016, received three manga adaptations, one illustrated by Nakihara Sen on Kadokawa‘s Comp Ace magazine and two by Fujimaru Mamenosuke on Enterbrain‘s B’s-LOG Cheek. Set in the same universe as the above, it follows the story of high school student Ibaraki Maki; a girl of Asakusa through and through, the local food being her favourite part. She has the ability to see ayakashi, and time and time again she gets involved in trouble related to them, which she usually solves with brute strength. However, she has a secret: she is the reincarnation of Ibaraki-douji, a fearsome oni from the Heian period and aide of Shuten-douji, the legendary oni king of Mt. Ooe. Not only that, her classmate Amasake Kaoru is the reincarnation of that very king, and willing or not he finds himself dragged along by Maki’s antics.

Maydare Tensei Monogatari: illustrated by Amaichi Esora (Genkai Level 1 kara no Nariagari: Saijaku Level no Ore ga Isekai Saikyou ni Naru made), published six volumes since 2019, received a manga adaptation illustrated by Natsunishi Nana on Square Enix‘s GFantasy in 2020. In the magic realm of Maydare live Makia and Thor, a farmer’s daughter and a knight. The two hold feelings for each other, but they are drawn apart when Thor is summoned to become the bodyguard of a “Saviour” from another world. However, Makia finds an opportunity to see him again by joining a prestigious magic academy in the capital. Thus she sets out to try her luck, and finally find words for her feelings for Thor.
