Zeal had a strange dream...a nightmare in which he saw a woman in a long, flowing gown, her silhouette flickering in the dim light of what looked like a torch-lit chamber. The scene felt strangely familiar, as if he'd witnessed it before. The woman lies on a cold stone floor, her body contorted in agony, an intense, burning pain visibly wracking her. A voice echoed through the chamber, warning her: "Give up your love for that man, and the curse I placed upon you will vanish. Otherwise, you will be consumed by your own feelings." As the voice speaks, strange, inked rose markings begin to appear on the woman's chest. The roses, dark and ominous, spread rapidly across her skin, like a living tattoo, until they cover her entirely. She cries out for help, her voice filled with desperation and pain, but her cries eventually weaken and fall silent. She is unable to let go of her love, and the curse takes its course, consuming her entirely. Zeal wakes up with a jolt. He glances at his modern digital clock on his nightstand and touches his chest, trying to calm his racing heart. A faint echo of the woman's cry still lingered in his ears. From that night on, the nightmare returns frequently, each time with the same horrifying details. Zeal tries to convince himself that it's just a dream, nothing more, but a growing unease settles within him. His denial shatters when he discovers the same inked rose markings, identical to those on the woman in his dream, now appearing on his own body. The sight triggers a wave of déjà vu, a chilling sense of having experienced this before, somewhere, sometime.
