CAPCOM has revealed a new game for its Onimusha game franchise, titled Onimusha: Way of the Sword, which will be released worldwide in 2026. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The original Onimusha fantasy action game was released in 2001, and it retells stories from the Sengoku era using supernatural elements. The latest game in the franchise was a remastered version of the Onimusha Warlords game, released in January 2019.
