The official website for the Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi (Campfire Cooking in Another World With My Absurd Skill) anime has revealed the promotional video and teaser visual for the second season. The video confirms that the anime will premiere in October 2025 on TV Tokyo and its affiliated channels.

The first season of the Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi anime was directed by Matsuda Kiyoshi at MAPPA Studio. The show premiered in January 2023, and all 12 episodes can be streamed on Crunchyroll. The anime is described by Crunchyroll below:

The anime is based on Eguchi Rens’s Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi (Campfire Cooking in Another World With My Absurd Skill) light novel series. Eguchi started the story in 2016 on the Shosetsuka ni Narou website, and Overlap published the first novel with illustrations by Masa in November 2016. The 16th novel was released in December 2024.
The novel series was adapted into a manga by Akagishi K in March 2017 on Overlap’s Comic Gardo. Overlap published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in December 2017 and the 10th volume in February 2024.
Futaba Momo started a manga spinoff in August 2018 on Overlap’s Comic Gardo, titled Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi: Sui no Daibouken (Campfire Cooking in Another World: Sui’s Great Adventure). Overlap published the spinoff’s first volume in January 2019 and the eighth volume in February 2024.
J-Novel Club publishes both the light novels and Akagishi’s manga adaptation in English under the name Campfire Cooking in Another World With My Absurd Skill. It released the first 15 novels digitally in English and all 10 volumes of the manga adaptation. It also publishes Futaba’s manga spinoff under the name Campfire Cooking in Another World: Sui’s Great Adventure, and it will release the seventh volume digitally on June 18th, 2025.
