Wit Studio has revealed a new promotional video and Autumn visual for the Shunkashuutou Daikousha: Haru no Mai (Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring/ 春夏秋冬代行者 春の舞 ) TV anime. The new visual and promotional video reveals the Agent of Autumn Nadeshiko Iwaizuki and her Guard Rindou Azami.

Yamamoto Ken (Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Shinjidai no Tobira, Yuki Hodokishi Futaai) is directing the anime at Wit Studio.
The anime is based on Akatsuki Kana’s Shunka Shuutou Daikousha (Agent of the Four Seasons/ 春夏秋冬代行者 ) light novel series. Kadokawa published Akatsuki’s first novel with illustrations by Suoh (Ketsugou Danshi: Commitments to Dawn) in April 2021, and currently, there are a total of eight books in the series.
The series consists of two Dance of Spring novels, two Dance of Summer novels, The Archer of Dawn novel, two Dance of Autumn novels and the latest novel, Archer of Dusk, which was released in December 2024.
Yen Press releases the novel series in English under the name Agent of the Four Seasons, and it released the 5th book, Agent of the Four Seasons: The Archer of Dawn novel, in August 2025. Yen Press describes the first novel, Agent of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring, Part 1, below:
“Winter was once the only season in the world, but such an existence was too lonely to bear, and so it created Spring to love. Before long, the earth wished for more time to rest in the cycle, and Summer and Autumn were born. The ones who carry the cycle are called the Agents of the Four Seasons. Hinagiku, the Agent of Spring, disappeared from this land ten years ago, taking the season of spring with her. Now, after incredible hardship, she has returned to restore the cycle to its proper state- and, as in the myth passed down since the dawn of time, she sends her love to Winter.”
The novel series was adapted into a manga by Komatsuda Nappa in July 2022. The manga, Shunka Shuutou Daikousha Haru no Mai (Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring), is serialised in Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine, and Hakusensha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in January 2023 and the sixth volume in August 2025.
