Author Akigi Shin has confirmed on their Twitter account that the Kaitou Red (Phantom Thief Red/ 怪盗レッド ) light novel series will conclude with its 30th novel, which will be released in June 2026.

Kadokawa published Akigi’s first novel in February 2010 and the 29th novel in February 2026. The series’s third novel and the following books contain illustrations by Shuu.
Yen Press publishes the novels in English under the name Phantom Thief Red, and it has released the first six novels in the series so far. Yen Press describes the novel story below:
