Shinshokan’s Cheri+ magazine published the final chapter of the Ameiro Paradox (Candy Color Paradox/ 飴色パラドックス) manga by Natsume Isaku in its May 2026 issue, released on March 30th, 2026.

Natsume started the manga in December 2009 in Shinshokan’s Dear+ magazine, and the manga moved in April 2014 to Shinshokan’s Cheri+ magazine. Shinshokan published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in March 2011 and the seventh volume in May 2025.
Viz Media’s SuBLime imprint publishes the manga in English under the name Candy Color Paradox, and it describes the manga’s story below:
“Satoshi Onoe takes pride in the good writing and ethical reporting he does in his job at a weekly magazine. But when the stakeout teams are shuffled around, he ends up being paired up with Motoharu Kaburagi, an ill-mannered photographer who is nothing but trouble. Onoe despises Kaburagi’s haphazard and unethical reporting methods, and the two bicker constantly. But Onoe’s annoyance begins to shift as he spends more time with Kaburagi, and his feelings turn a bit sweeter…”
