Kadokawa’s Comic Alive magazine has published a new chapter of the No Game No Life Dainishou Toubu Rengou-hen (No Game, No Life Chapter 2: Eastern Union/ ノーゲーム・ノーライフ 第二章 東部連合編 ) manga by Naitou Ryuu, in its June 2026 issue, released on April 27th, 2026. This is the first chapter to be released in 16 months, since the manga went on hiatus in December 2024.
The manga is an adaptation of the second and third novels in the No Game No Life (ノーゲーム・ノーライフ ) novel series by author and illustrator Kamiya Yuu. The series’s first novel was released in April 2012, the second in September 2012, and the third in January 2013. The latest novel released was number 13 on April 24th, 2026.
Naitou started the manga adaptation of the second and third novels in November 2021 in Kadokawa’s Comic Alive magazine, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2022. The manga’s third volume was released in December 2024.
Yen Press publishes both the novel series and the manga adaptation in English under the titles No Game No Life and No Game, No Life Chapter 2: Eastern Union. Yen Press has released the first 12 novels and all three of the manga volumes. It describes the manga story below:
