Square Enix will release the 16th and final tankoubon volume of the Ossan Boukensha Kane no Zenkou (The Good Deeds of Old Adventurer Kane/ おっさん冒険者ケインの善行) manga by Okino Maho on May 7th, 2026.
Square Enix’s Manga UP! Global releases the manga chapters in English under the name The Good Deeds of Old Adventurer Kane, and it describes the manga’s story below:
“Meet Kane: a D-rank adventurer with nothing going for him but his kindness. He’s spent the last 20 years getting by with herb-picking requests, but one day, he comes across a super rare item: The Fruit of Revival! Giving it away for not much more than pocket change, little does he know that his life is about to change…”
The manga is an adaptation of the light novel series of the same name by Huuraisan and Super Zombie. Author Huuraisan started the original story in August 2017 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and SB Creative published the first novel with illustrations by Super Zombie in March 2018. The series’s fifth novel was released in November 2022.
