The official website for the Saijo no Osewa (Rich Girl Caretaker/才女のお世話 高嶺の花だらけな名門校で、学院一のお嬢様(生活能力皆無)を陰ながらお世話することになりました ) anime has revealed the show’s first promitonl video and confirmed the premiere date as July 4th, 2026.

The anime will debut on July 4th at 2:38 a.m. on the MBS channel, and it will also air on TV Tokyo and BS Asahi. Crunchyroll will stream the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India.
Morishita Shuusei is directing the anime at Brain’s Base studios, and the anime will star:
- Uemura Yuuto as Itsuki Tomonari
- Kohara Konomi as Hinako Konohana
- Ounishi Saori as Mirei Tennouji
- Tsuchiya Rio as Narika Miyakojima

The anime is based on Saijo no Osewa: Takane no Hana Darake na Meimonkou de, Gakuin-Ichi no Ojousama (Seikatsu Nouryoku Kaimu) o Kage Nagara o Sewa Suru Koto ni Narimashita light novel series by author Sakaishi Yusaku and illustrator Miwabe Sakura. HJ Bunko published Sakaishi’s first novel with illustrations by Miwabe in May 2021, and it released the series’s 11th novel in October 2025.
The novel series was adapted into a manga by Mizushima Sorahiko in September 2021 on Hobby Japan’s Fire Cross website, and Hobby Japan published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in June 2022. The manga’s sixth volume is scheduled for release on June 1st, 2026.
The Spain-based Monogatori Novels company announced in October 2023 that it had licensed the novel series for English release under the name Rich Girl Caretaker: I’m Secretly the Caregiver of the Most Popular Girl in This Rich Kid School. It has listed the first three novels on Amazon.com under the title Rich Girl Caretaker, all with the release date of March 3rd, 2026. Unfortunately, the above release date may be affected due to “issues with customs as a result of the new tariffs”, as the company stated on their Twitter account in May 2025.
