Pony Canyon has announced that the Majo to Ryouken (Witch and Hound/ 魔女と猟犬 ) light novel series by Kamitsuki Rainy has been green-lit for a TV anime adaptation. A teaser promotional video and teaser visual have been revealed.

Tsujimoto Takanori is directing the anime at TriF Studio.
Author Kamitsuki Rainy and illustrator LAM released the first novel in October 2020 under Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko label. The series’s sixth novel was released in December 2024.
The series was adapated into a manga by Tsukahara Minori from May 2023 to August 2025 on Square Enix’s Manga UP! website. Square Enix published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in March 2024 and the fourth and final volume in August 2025.
Yen Press will release the manga’s first volume in English under the name Witch and Hound on November 24th, 2026. Yesn Press describes the manga story below:
