Shogakukan’s listing for the 12th tankoubon volume of Crystal na Yosuke’s Bonnou Saiyuuki (煩悩☆西遊記) manga confirms that the manga series will end with the release of its 13th volume. The 12th volume is scheduled for release on November 19th, 2025; no date has been confirmed for the release of the manga’s 13th volume.
Manga creator Crystal na Yosuke (Osake wa Fuufu ni Natte kara) started the story in February 2020 in Shogakukan’s Sunday GX magazine, and Shogakukan published the manga’s first volume in November 2020 and the manga’s 11th volume in June 2025.
The story follows Buddhist priest Genjou and his journey to India to obtain the scriptures that are said to contain true salvation.
He is accompanied by three beautiful and charming women: Son Gokuu, Cho Hakkai, and Sha Gojyo. The trials that befall all of them along the way are…all erotic. For Genjou, who lives the way of Buddhism, losing his chastity means death. Will he be able to overcome worldly desires and maintain his chastity?
