Author Sazana Kei announced on Twitter that the Sekai no Owari no Encore (世界の終わりの世界録 ) manga adaptation by Usui Ryuu will end with the manga’s 15th tankoubon volume. The manga is an adaptation of Sazana’s light novel series of the same name

Usui started the manga adaptation in October 2015 in Kadokawa’s Comic Alive magazine, and Kadokawa published the manga’s first volume in March 2016. The manga’s 14th volume was released on May 22nd, 2026.


The original novel series by Sazana began in July 2014 with illustrations by Fuyuno Haruaki. Kadokawa published the 10th and final novel in May 2017.


The story is set in an era of fierce competition for the “World Record,” a priceless treasure left behind by the legendary hero Elrain. Countries and organisations around the world seek its whereabouts—the legend’s return begins with the encounter between Ren, a boy who looks exactly like Elrain, and Kirishe, the legendary dragon princess
