Kodansha’s Monthly Shounen Sirius magazine has confirmed that Takada Yuzo’s Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Toaru Kyuuka no Sugoshi-kata (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: How to Spend a Certain Vacation) manga will end in the magazine’s July 2025 issue, available for sale on May 26th, 2025.
The manga is an adaptation of the Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Toaru Kyuuka no Sugoshi-kata story by author Fuse, which in itself is a spinoff of the original Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) light novel series by Fuse and Vah Mitz.
Fuse started the ongoing Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken novel series in 2013 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Micro Magazine published the first novel with illustrations by Vah in May 2014, and the series’ 22nd novel in January 2025.
The Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Toaru Kyuuka no Sugoshi-kata spinoff story by Fuse began in February 2023 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website. Takata started the manga adaptation of the story in July 2023, and Kodansha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in January 2024 and the second volume in September 2024. The manga’s third volume will be released on June 9th, 2025.
The spinoff story begins at the end of the ninth novel and the beginning of the 10th novel in the original Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken novel series. The story is described below:

Due to the popularity of the original novel series, there have been numerous manga adaptations, manga spinoffs, TV anime adaptations and anime films. All three seasons of the TV anime titled That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime can be streamed on the Crunchyroll website, and a fourth season, along with a new anime film, have been announced.
