The second promotional video for the TV anime Goukon ni Ittara Onna ga Inakatta Hanashi (How I Attended an All-Guy’s Mixer) was released this week, and it confirms the anime’s premiere date as October 4th, 2024.

Koga Kazuomi is directing the anime at Ashi Productions studio, and the anime will star Komatsu Mikako as Suo, Yuuki Aoi as Fuji, Touyama Nao as Kohaku, Takeuchi Shunuke as Tokiwa, Horie Shun as Asagi and Kajiwara Gakuto as Hagi. Further cast members have been confirmed as :
- Kondo Reina as Naseshiko
- Takayanagi Tomoyo as Chigusa
- Kawase Maki as Karasuba
- Aoyama Yoshino as Hashibami
- Itou Shizuka as Hagi’s older sister
The anime is based on the manga by Aokawa Nana. Aokawa started the story on Pixiv in March 2020 and on Square Enix’s Gangan Online website in February 2021. The manga’s first tankoubon volume was published in February 2021, and the seventh volume in April 2024. The eighth volume will be released on September 12th, 2024.
