The official website for the Rock wa Lady no Tashinamideshite (Rock is a Lady’s Modesty) TV anime has revealed the main trailer and visual for the show. It has been confirmed that the anime will premiere on Japanese TV on April 3rd, 2025, on TBS and 27 of its affiliated channels.

Watada Shinya (The IDOLM@STER Million Live!, Aikatsu Stars!) directs the anime at BS Pictures and the anime will star:
- Sekine Akira as Lilisa Suzunomia
- Shimabukuro Miyuri as Otaha Kurogane
- Fukuhara Ayaka as Tina Isemi
- Fujiwara Natsumi as Tamaki Shiraya
The anime is based on Fukuda Hiroshi’s Rock wa Lady no Tashinamideshite manga. Fukuda (Mushibugyou, Joujuu Senjin!! Mushibugyou) started the manga in October 2022 in Hakusensha’s Young Animal magazine and Hakusensha published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in April 2023 and the sixth volume in November 2024. The manga’s seventh volume is set to release on March 28th, 2025.
The story follows Lilisa Suzunomia, who became the step-daughter of a real estate tycoon after her mother remarried and has to give up her guitar and love for rock music to act like a wealthy young lady at an all-girls school. But her passion for rock is rekindled when she meets a highly skilled drummer who attends the same all-girls’ school.
