The official website for the Kanpeki Sugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyaku Haki Sareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru (The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold To Another Kingdom) TV anime has confirmed that the show will premiere on Japanese TV on April 9th, 2025. A new visual has also been revealed along with a short promotional video with the anime’s opening theme song, Riria’s Ai Toka (Love and Such).

The anime will debut on April 9th on the TV Tokyo and TV Aichi channels. It will then air on the AT-X channel on April 10th and on the BS Asahi channel on April 11th.
Watanabe Shuu (Naruto Shippuuden, Shinobi no Ittoki) is directing the anime at TROYCA studio. The anime will star:

The anime is based on Fuyutsuki Kouki’s Kanpeki Sugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyaku Haki Sareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru light novel series. Fuyutsuki (Ane no Migawari de Konyaku Shitara Nazeka) started the story in July 2020 as a web novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and it ended in January 2022. Overlap published the first novel in the series in April 2021 with illustrations by Masami (Buchigire Reijou wa Houfuku wo Chikaimashita, Maou-gun Shitennou no Saijaku Reijou wa Jiyuu ni Ikitai! ), and it released its seventh novel in December 2024. The eighth novel will be released on March 25th, 2025.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the light novel series in English under the name The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold To Another Kingdom. It will release the second novel on May 6th, 2025 and the third novel on August 5th, 2025.
Ayakita Mago adapted the novel series into a manga in November 2021 in Overlap’s Comic Gardo. Overlap published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in February 2022 and the fifth volume in June 2024. The manga’s sixth volume will be released on March 25th, 2025. Seven Seas Entertainment will release the manga’s second volume in English on May 13th, 2025.
