Staff for the Sozai Saishuka no Isekai Ryokouki (素材採取家の異世界旅行記 / A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai) TV anime have confirmed the main cast and the opening theme song artist for the show.
The anime will premiere in October 2025, and it is directed by Odaka Yoshinori at Tatsunoko Production and Synergy SP studios. The anime will star Shimazaki Nobunaga as Takeru, Itou Ayasa as Bee and Koichi Mokato as Brolite, while Nornis has been confirmed as the opening theme artist.
The anime is based on Kinoko Masuo’s Sozai Saishuka no Isekai Ryokouki light novel series. The novel series has won both the grand prize and the readers’ choice award in the 9th AlphaPolis Fantasy Novel Prizes.
Kinoko started the story in December 2017 on the AlphaPolis platform, and AlphaPolis published the first novel with illustrations by Umishima Senbon in January 2017. The 16th novel was released in March 2025 with illustrations by Kuroi Susumu.
The novels were adapted into a manga by Tomozo on the AlphaPolis Web Manga platform, and AlphaPolis published the manga’s first tankoubon volume in November 2018 and the eighth volume in August 2024. The manga is released in English by Alpha Manga under the name A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai, and it released the eighth volume in March 2025.

“Takeru Kamishiro is a normal guy with an ordinary office job, but finds himself summoned to another world. Takeru starts his new life in “Madeus”, a world with swords and magic, fully equipped with multiple skills! Not only does he have enhanced physical and amazing magic abilities, but he also has the power to “search” for valuable items. With the cheat skills he’s been provided, Takeru starts his new adventure in the new isekai!!”
