The fourth and final tankoubon volume of the Yamada no Gakkyuu Nisshi (Yamada’s Class Diary/山田の学級日誌 ) manga by Aomi Rui was released on January 20th, 2026.
Aomi started the romcom manga in August 2024 on Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume magazine, and Hakusensha published the manga’s first volume in January 2025.
The story follows Yamada, a super serious girl, who is the only female student in a previously all-male school. Not minding that she is called boring and overly-serious by those around her, she spends her days working hard to get a scholarship, for which she’ll do anything.
One day, her homeroom teacher tells her that if she can get a truant classmate named Murata to attend school, he’ll give her good marks, and Yamada reluctantly agrees. When she heads to the game centre, where Murata’s at, she finds a super-sleazy guy flaunting in front of all the girls. Follow the youthful love comedy about an extremely serious and naive girl and a womanising boy!
